Turning Pages LA
Our Mission
At Turning Pages LA, we believe in empowering young minds through knowledge and exploration. Our initiative focuses on providing underfunded communities with reduced access to libraries in the greater Los Angeles with thought-provoking books in philosophy, sociology, and psychology, along with entry-level literature to entice younger readers. By offering access to these resources, we aim to foster independent learning and critical thinking skills among students and youth, empowering them to explore the complexities of the human mind and society through literature. Join us in shaping the future generation's intellectual curiosity through the power of education. This initiative was started by two high school students in Los Angeles who feel there is a lack of literary education of the self and mental health within youth communities. Funds will be used to purchase and donate books to underfunded communities and help build micro-libraries located around the LA county. Book donations are also greatly appreciated.
